The main tasks are the following:
– Elaborate and design structures made of steel, concrete and wood as well as their foundations;
– Prepare cost estimates for the material, labour, and equipment needed in order to complete a project;
– Manage the entirety of a project: plan the work steps and timetable, analyse quotes, and ensure the project advances smoothly;
– Oversee the work done by the drawers and technicians under your responsibility, review and certify the design work;
– Ensure the conformity of the contractor’s work on-site;
– Ensure the quality control systems are in place and followed, both during work and at the end of a project in order to ensure its conformity;
– Participate in the development of the structural department in terms of staff management.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering;
– Experience in engineering consulting (an asset);
– Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit;
– Autonomous;
– Respect of deadlines and timetables;
– Able to work as part of a team.

– Elaborate plans, specifications and details for construction, renovation or rehabilitation projects of building mechanics;
– Conceive various building mechanic systems: HVAC, plumbing, heating, cooling, fire protection, control, and energy conservation;
– Studies including reports pertaining to conceptual analysis, feasibility analysis, and preliminary design;
– Technical surveying of existing systems;
– Meeting with clients;
– Manage the entirety of a project: plan the work steps and timetable, analyse quotes, and ensure the project advances smoothly;
